Was it an ex fire department car?

The fogs and spots are not wired, and as far as I can tell no aftermarket electronics have ever been wired. So my guess is no.

Just to be that guy, 4x4's are solid axle, Twin Beam is 2wd trucks only, but your point still stands!

Pretty sure the 4x4 Bronco got the TTB Dana 44 with the downsized 1980 models.

Today I learned that Ford offered a Twin Beam 4wd setup. I was under the impression that all 4wd’s were solid axle, and the twin beam was 2wd models only, a very quick Google even confirmed that. Now I know better, and will spend more time than I should learning about this new fangled Twin Traction Beam.

They’re supposed to be the hot setup for playing in the sand!
Also, the heavy duty stuff never went to the TTB, they kept the old stick axles. Super Duty still has a solid front today.
